On the second Wednesday of every month at 5:45pm, members meet at Coorparoo RSL Club. Here we discuss hot topics from the forum, relevant SMB issues and have vendors present their products to us. Monthly meetings include:
One of the great strengths of the group is online forum. Our members have wide, detailed and varied knowledge which they will apply to any practical or theoretical questions posted to the forum. This is an invaluable resource and very easy to use for all members. Especially usefull in time-critical troubleshooting.
Twice a year the Committee will host a technical seminar for a day on topics that are voted on for relevance at the beginning of the year. These are valuable sessions are not only relevant to SMB and SMB IT Professionals, but are also deeply technical. These sessions fill the gaps in your knowledge that you never find the time to fill properly.
Each year we have an intensive day-long technical session called the Bootcamp. This day usually revolves around best practice installation and troubleshooting of Small Business Server systems. All members give as much or as little information as they can as to their best practice and a list of those practices is compiled into a document by the end of the day. This document is available to all members and is another great resource.
